During the current year, the Company, in accordance with the global strategies implemented by the Group, began to evaluate the expansion of its “food delivery” business, opening up its business to an additional delivery activity known as Grocery & Convenience (hereafter “Retail”). This is the activity which, as many of you probably know, was regulated in the Agreement signed between the Company and the Trade Unions last June.
The segments of this new activity will focus on the delivery of food and non-food goods (e.g. flowers, pharma products, etc.).
The aim is to increase the volume of orders and densify inefficient time slots, and consequently increase contractual opportunities for couriers by creating more opportunities on and off peak.
Before the introduction of each segment of the business, the necessary Health & Safety analyses will always be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Legislative Decree 81/08.
Lastly, we would like to remind you that the methods for placing orders, both for food delivery and for Retail, will be the same, both in terms of maximum weight and volume and in terms of releasing the order to the customer. We invite you as always to :
