Order pooling/Doppia presa

What is Order pooling (doppia presa)?
This function will allow you to collect two orders at the restaurant at the same time and deliver them to different customers (close to each other).

Why are we doing this?
There will be a reduction of your waiting time at the restaurant, you will be able to deliver more orders in a shorter period of time and also drive less kilometers!

How does it work?
1) If you have multiple orders to collect at the same restaurant, you will see them all on the same screen with a different TMS code for each order.

2) Inform the restaurateur that you have more orders to collect by indicating the code of each one.

3) When you have picked up all orders, click on “Finish pickup” for each one. It is essential that you only click when you have collected them and are ready to leave the restaurant!

4) Your app will tell you which order to deliver first, again you will see them all on the same screen. During delivery, carefully check the TMS code to make sure it is the correct order and once delivered to the customer, click on “Delivery deadline” (only for the delivered order!).

5) Go and deliver the second-order following the same procedure and clicking “Finish delivery” only after you have delivered it to the customer.
